Ukrainian State Forest guard Pavlovych manages logging brigades that fulfill state, private and illegal orders. Pavlovych believes in doing the right thing while being part of the corrupted system himself. He loves the forest, but he also feels that he owns it. While Pavlovych finds out that someone from his team steals the trees, the next season of rain is coming… How comfortable is to sit on a branch you are cutting off?
